Motion Capture Laboratory

Hybrid knee-ankle foot exoskeleton.

Objective: To develop a hybrid unilateral knee–ankle–foot exoskeleton. Knee actuation includes traditional robotic actuation, while knee and ankle actuation is based on functional electrical stimulation using a robotic motor neuroprosthesis (MNP). Control, detection, and lower-limb activity segmentation algorithms are implemented in the MNP.

Implementation and Evaluation of an Augmentative and Alternative Communication Program following an operational approach of quality of life

Objective: Evaluation of an innovative augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) program for children and adolescents with disabilities based on a hybrid operational model of quality of life. The program is based on THREE fundamental pillars: the AAC digital open laboratory and other digital services, the interaction of the relevant actors in a collaborative environment, and the adapted technological support.
